Carrie Lewis is currently a Partner at Vaco LLC, in Austin, TX where she specializes in providing premier Technology employment solutions. With more than 17 years of sales and recruiting achievement, Carrie continues to leverage her extensive industry knowledge to successfully create long term relationships, grow company revenue and improve team performance.
Prior to launching Vaco Austin in 2008, Carrie served as the Branch Manager for Triangle Technology where she led a team of recruiters and account managers. From start-ups to industry heavy hitters, Carrie has worked with a variety of companies in the Austin market placing from entry-level up to C-Suite executives.
As an active philanthropist and entrepreneur in the Central TX area , Carrie is currently serving as President of Austin Women in Technology (AWT). She is a Past President (2010) and a current Board Member of the Austin Chapter of the Association of IT Professionals (AITP). She also serves on the Advisory Board for InnoTech Austin and currently volunteers at Starry – an emergency foster care shelter.
Carrie attended Sage College in Albany, NY as well as Texas State University in San Marcos, TX
Oh yeah….I don’t like chocolate cake or chocolate ice cream but I do like peanut butter cups, hot chocolate and mint chocolate chip ice cream (although sometimes there are too many chocolate chunks).
